The South Willard Water Company (SWWC) is a non-profit company that exists to provide its members with clean and reliable culinary water in a cost-effective and ethical manner. We strive to do the following:

Maintain infrastructure that assures reliable delivery
Effectively manage costs and operate as efficiently as possible
Adhere to the high ethical standards that represent the values of South Willard Water Company's members

It is the responsibility of each water user to maintain their meter site. This is imperative for our maintenance staff to correctly read, locate, and maintain each individual meter. The requirements for your meter site are as follows:
3' radius should be clearly and easily accessible - No obstructions or vegetation of any kind, including yard decor, decorative landscaping, and the like may cover the meter box
Meter site needs to be clearly visible from the road
Meter cover must be at finish grade level
FIRE HYDRANTS must remain unobstructed and accessible within 15' on either side
During months of snow - snow removal or "pilings" from surrounding areas must not be piled on or at meter site
There are currently many projects along our service district and Blue Stakes have increased significantly. In order to keep costs to the water company down, we wask that members review their meter sites and correct any obstructions. If a meter site is not in compliance with the requirements, fines may be assessed. If you are unable to find or locate your meter, please contact the office and a staff member can help. The equipemnt is specific and the property of SWWC and may not be altered without permission. Please do not cut wires, antennas, or replace risers or barrels without prior authorization from the water company.
